1943-1944 C.O., 792nd Squadron, training us and with us for the B-29, Salina, Kansas
1944-1945 - C.O. 468th Bomb Group, "The Billy Mitchell Group", CBI and back to the South Pacific
He retired as a Lt. General, but we will always fondly remember him as "Col. Jim"
